For the W3C TPAC 2020 virtual meeting, the Pronunciation Task Force developed a video that provides an example of pronunciation problems found on the Web when using read aloud tools, as well as digital assistants that scrape content from the Web, in this case Amazon’s Alexa is used. For the video I developed a custom skill for Alexa that I will make public in the new year.
